Erica Darensbourg (JV & Varsity Cheer Coach)
Erica has been involved in cheerleading for 19 years. She has competed on advance level All Star teams for 10 years and has competed at the USASF cheerleading worlds with Orange Crush open all girl level 6. She was a four year cheerleader at Mission Viejo High School, where she was a captain her freshmen, Junior and senior year. After graduating she attended Cal State Long Beach on a Partial cheerleading scholarship. She was a U.S Spiritleader head instructor for 600 kid camps, teaching choreography, stunt technique and gymnastics. For 8 years Erica has been coaching competitive cheer and gymnastic for OC Allstars cheer and dance. She coached San Clemente High School for three years and led them to a USA National championship in 2008 and second place in 2009. With Erica’s cheerleading back ground she has had the opportunity to be in such productions as Gwen Stefani “Holla Back” music video and NFL Networks “NFL replay” commercial.
When Erica is not coaching cheer, she is a kickboxing instructor for 24 hour fitness. Through teaching kickboxing she has had been fortunate enough to get to work for Chalene Johnson the CEO of Powder Blue Productions and creator of Turbo Kick and Turbo Jam. In 2009 Erica was one of five instructors in her round 38 Kickboxing video and also a Tech on three other Kickboxing and Hip Hop Hustle videos. Furthermore Erica worked as a tech for Beachbody on Chalenes new DVD work out “Turbo Fire”.

Lindsey Tuer (JV & Varsity Song Coach)
Lindsey Tuer is a trained jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballet and song-leading dancer with more than 20 years experience. Lindsey has been a competitive gymnast for 9 years, as well as a cheer/song leader for 7 years. She attended the Artistic Dance Academy, Rancho California Gymnastics, Touche’ All Star Dance, and was a Cheer and Song-Leader for her high school team. Lindsey attended Orange Coast College and served as a member of the UDA and USA National Champion Dance Team and as a Dance Staff Instructor for U.S. Spirit-leaders, as well as Regional and National Dance/Song Competition judge. Recently, Lindsey competed in the 2010 Dance Worlds Championships with PACE All-Stars, won 1st place in the Pom Division, and placed 9th for Hip Hop. Lindsey danced for the Los Angeles Avengers (A-Team Dancers), and recently completed her 4th season as a Los Angeles Laker Girl. She was a Lakers’ TV host for 3 years and has been working in the Television and Film industry as a dancer and model for years. Her accomplishments include dancing for the Black Crowes, the Nike Industrials, 2004-2005 “So You Think You Can Dance” Promo, a 2009 NFL Replay commercial, and numerous print photo shoots. Lindsey starred in the up and coming “Harold and Kumar 3″ feature film, and is currently signed with several top LA agencies. Lindsey has coached many teams, including El Toro High School, Touche’ All-Star Dance, TVS Stars, Twist’N U All-Stars, and Tumble Jungle. Lindsey has choreographed for the Laker Girls, the Clippers Spirit Dance Team, Montana State University, El Toro High School Song and Touche’ All Star Dance. She enjoys teaching and choreographing and is excited to share her passion for dance and the arts with the songleaders at MVHS.Go Diablos!!!
